The Chief Executive Officer, (CEO), of the Middle Belt Development Authority, Joe Dankwah says the One-Million-Dollars-One-Constituency promise being demanded by the people has already been invested in projects at the constituency level.
He explained that, constituency projects have not been labeled as such and that is why people are still demanding disbursement of funds promised by the NPP administration.
Mr. Joe Dankwah disclosed this at a forum with MP’S on the disbursement of projects under the one constituency one million dollars initiative in Kumasi.
The Middle Belt Development Authority, is a government vehicle responsible for the development of Ashanti, Brong Ahafo and Eastern regions.
The concerns have recently been raised about when the one million dollars-one constituency promise of the government will take effect.
But CEO of the Middle Belt Development Authority, established to over see development in the three regions says the various constituencies have already benefited from various projects under the initiative.
