Focus on your mandate – Kojo Addae-Mensah advises Normalisation Committee

Date:

Chief Executive Officer of DataBank Kojo Addae-Mensah has urged the Normalisation Committee to focus on the mandate given them so they can finish their job on time and hand over football to the football people.

Mr. Addae Mensah, who doubles as a sports enthusiast, has expressed disappointment after the cancellation of the Special Competition indicated that the Normalisation Committee should quickly bring out a road map and do what is expected of them before their mandate comes to an end.

“The Normalization committee should bring out the road map, organise an election and hand over to the football people to prepare us for the 2019 AFCON”, he told Happy FM.

He added that Dr. Kofi Amoah will not seek for an extension when his mandate comes to an end in March.

“I have heard Dr Kofi Amoah saying that they won’t seek for an extension and I will like to take his word for it.”

“I hope they get things done and finish within the given time and hand football to the football people.”

The Normalisation Committee were given a six-month mandate by FIFA and are expected to finish reforms at the FA by 31 March, 2019.
