George Opare Addo, the attorney for several of the Arise Ghana demonstrators, has claimed that the protesters who were detained on Tuesday, June 28, 2022, during the Arise Ghana march, were starved to death in police custody.
He said that one of the 29 people who were detained by the police and arrested had to be sent to the hospital right away because of the effects of his hunger, and that he is still there. The Tesano, Osu, Ministries, La, and Nima Police Stations are where the remaining 28 are housed.
