National Security denies affiliation of suspect in Kasoa soldier shooting with their personnel.

The Ministry of National Security has clarified that Benlord Ababio, the individual accused of fatally shooting a soldier in Millennium City, Kasoa, is not employed by their organization.

In an official statement, the Ministry emphasized that Benlord Ababio, currently in police custody, has no affiliation with their staff.

Addressing a circulating social media report alleging Ababio’s connection to the Ministry, officials urged the public to disregard such misinformation.

Lance Corporal Michael Danso was shot on Tuesday in Millennium City, Kasoa, reportedly during a land dispute. Investigations revealed that the dispute involved a half plot of land owned by an individual named Omar.

Danso sustained gunshot wounds and was rushed to the Mother and Child Hospital in Kasoa, where medical authorities later pronounced him dead.

Police investigations have commenced, leading to the arrest of Benlord Ababio, suspected to be involved in the incident as an alleged landguard.
