A Friday to Remember: Good Friday Miracle Service 2025 Shakes Independence Square

Date:

Thousands gathered. Prayers were lifted. Miracles broke out.
The Good Friday Miracle Service 2025 at Independence Square, Accra, was nothing short of extraordinary. Worshippers from all walks of life converged in their numbers to witness the power of the cross—and left transformed.

Under the leadership of Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills, the atmosphere was charged with faith and deep spiritual hunger. His message, titled “The Cross of Jesus Christ,” painted a vivid, soul-stirring picture of the unimaginable sacrifice Christ endured—His betrayal, the brutal whipping, the mocking crown of thorns, the nails, the humiliation, and the agony of crucifixion.

But Evangelist Heward-Mills made one truth unmistakably clear: Jesus suffered not for Himself, but for us—so that we could receive salvation, healing, and deliverance.

Signs, Wonders and Miracles

As the message went forth, the presence of God moved across the square in power. The Word was followed by undeniable miracles:

  • Chronic back pain vanished
  • Deaf ears opened
  • Blurry vision cleared
  • And most importantly, countless souls responded to the call of salvation

Tears flowed freely. Hands were lifted. Hearts were healed. It was a moment of heaven touching earth — a true encounter with the power of the Gospel.

Presidential Presence

Adding to the historic significance of the day, President John Dramani Mahama graced the event and delivered a special Easter message, urging Ghanaians to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, justice, and unity.

“Even when Friday is darkest, resurrection is coming,” he declared. “Let us walk together in unity and in truth, and rise above every challenge with Christ.”

A Nation United in Worship

From praise and worship to preaching and prayer, the Good Friday Miracle Service 2025 was more than just a gathering—it was a spiritual landmark for the nation. The message of the Cross echoed far beyond the Independence Square, igniting hope and faith in the hearts of those in attendance and thousands more following online and on radio.
