Duffuor requests that the NDC primaries be delayed.

Date:

Before Saturday’s primary elections, Kwabena Duffuor, a candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) flag, is lamenting about inconsistencies in the party’s voter list.

The impending presidential and legislative primaries slated for this next weekend, May 13, 2023, are being called off by Dr. Duffuor.

Dr. Duffuor’s campaign team claims in a letter to the NDC General Secretary that the call is based on the unreliable and inaccurate delegate list anticipated to be utilised for the elections.

The letter’s author, Kofi Kukubor, the head of research and strategy for the Duffuor campaign, claims that the postponement will afford plenty of time for the register to be cleaned and a chance for a free and fair election.
