Foreign Affairs Ministry reviews passport fees upward

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has reviewed upward fees for passport and other services it provides, a statement issued and copied to the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Friday stated.

 
The new fees, which takes effect from Saturday February 1st are: Ordinary 32 pages Passports has been increased from GHC50.00 to GHC100.00 and GHC150.00 for the newly introduced 48 pages passport.
 
The fees for ‘Expedite’ 32 pages passport, has also been adjusted upward from GHC100.00, to GHC150.00 and GHC200.00 for the newly introduced 48 pages passport.
 
Fees for Attestation of Legal Documents, and Travel Certificate has also moved from GHC25.00 to GHC37.50 respectively.
 
The statement said Parliament had under the Fees and Charges (Miscellaneous Provisions) Instrument 2019, approved the upward review of the fees for services that were provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
 
The statement said the Ministry had also introduced a 48 pages Passport Booklet which would be available from Saturday February 1st.
