Gambia’s Vice President Hosts Evangelist Dag Heward-Mills at State House

Banjul, The Gambia — Gambian Vice President His Excellency Mohammed B.S. Jallow has received internationally known evangelist and author Dag Heward-Mills and his delegation at the State House in Banjul.

The meeting focused on strengthening religious tolerance and fostering national unity in The Gambia. During the discussions, Vice President Jallow reiterated the government’s commitment to protecting the rights of all religious groups in line with the country’s Constitution.

He emphasized that the government remains dedicated to promoting an environment where people of different faiths can coexist peacefully and freely practise their religion.

Dag Heward-Mills thanked the Vice President for granting the audience and expressed appreciation for the warm reception. As a gesture of goodwill, he presented copies of some of his published books to the Vice President.

The evangelist also offered prayers for continued peace, stability, and national progress in The Gambia.

The meeting reflects the continued engagement between government leaders and faith-based organisations in advancing peace, religious harmony, and national development.
