I will leave a good legacy-Twifo Hemang DCE

Date:

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo-Hemang-Lower- Denkyira, Mr Patrick Fiable, has called on residents to disregard false rumours circulating on social media and within the district alleging that he had misappropriated the Disability Common Fund.

Speaking on the issue following his appearance before Public Accounts Committee, after the release of the 2024 Auditor-General’s Report, Mr  Fiable clarified that the report in question covered the period of the previous NPP administration, not his current tenure.

He explained that his confirmation as DCE took place on April 17, 2025, and therefore, the matters cited in the 2024 Auditor-General’s Report could not be attributed to his administration.

Mr Fiable further appealed to the people of Twifo- Hemang-Lower- Denkyira to focus on unity and development rather than misinformation.

His mission, he stated, was to bring meaningful development to the district and to leave behind a legacy of integrity and progress, not an abysmal record of failure.
