Ken Blege Unveils Soul-Stirring Masterpiece ‘Have Your Way’

Date:

In a musical landscape often dominated by repetitive rhythms, every so often an artist emerges who treats music not just as a sound, but as a sacred craft. Enter Ken Blege—the “Poetic Aviator” who is currently taking center stage on Sweet Melodies FM’s Creative’s Cafe.

With the release of his third studio project, “Have Your Way,” Blege has solidified his position as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary Ghanaian Gospel. Known for his extraordinary ability to blend high-tier international genres with the lyrical beauty of Ewe and English, Ken Blege offers a sound that is as technically precise as it is spiritually deep.

A Library of Surrender

The “Have Your Way” album is a carefully curated six-track library. Far from being just a collection of songs, Blege describes the project as a “place of prayer and supplication.” The album serves as a musical cry of surrender, encouraging listeners to release the self-imposed strongholds that hinder divine manifestation.

Through a poetic lens, Blege navigates the relatable crests and valleys of the human experience. His message is clear: while we all strive to climb the hills of life on our own terms, true success is engineered by the wisdom and grace found at the foot of the Cross.

The Man Behind the Message

What makes Ken Blege’s perspective so unique is his life outside the recording studio. When he isn’t composing worship anthems, he is an Air Traffic Controller and Flight Procedure Designer in Ghana.

This professional background in aviation—a field requiring immense focus and direction—mirrors his approach to ministry. Whether he is directing a flight or a worship service at the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), Newlife Oyibi, his goal remains the same: ensuring a safe and purposeful arrival at the intended destination.

Grace as a Necessity

In a world grappling with social unrest and personal challenges, Blege’s lyrics serve as a sobering reminder of our dependence on the Divine.

“When one misses the covering of grace, he or she is likely going to be a mess,” Blege notes. “So, when you find yourself on the positive side of grace, you must strive with all effort to remain.”

This conviction is the heartbeat of the album, designed to reignite the “fire of grace” in every believer who feels their flame flickering.

Experience the Ministry

Adding to his impressive catalog of hits like “W’aseda,” “Yeshua,” and “You See Me Differently,” the “Have Your Way” project is already becoming a staple on the Drive Melodies playlist with Kweku Sampson.

As the album continues to touch lives, we invite the Sweet Melodies family to dive into the deep waters of this ministry.
