Suspects in the murder case of a British man are detained by a Kenyan court.

Date:

In connection with the murder of British national Campbell Scott, a Kenyan court has given police 21 days to detain two suspects. On February 22, a few days after the 58-year-old came in Kenya for a conference, his body was found in a bag.

Scott was last observed by authorities leaving his hotel with an unnamed individual before boarding a cab to go to a residential neighbourhood of Nairobi. Later, 110 kilometres from the capital, in a secluded area, his body was discovered.

A taxi driver involved in the case remains in custody, assisting investigators. Meanwhile, an autopsy was inconclusive, and toxicology tests are ongoing. The court has scheduled the next hearing for March 24.
