The government has released 57 million Ghana cedis for feeding and allowances to 46 educational colleges.

The Ministry of Education has declared that the government has set up GH57,460,000 for meal allowances in educational institutions.

This was confirmed in a statement published by the Ministry’s Spokesperson, Kwasi Kwarteng, on Thursday, July 28.

“The Government of Ghana has released a sum of GH57,460.000.00 covering food grants and student allowance to the 46 Colleges of Education in Ghana,” according to the announcement.

It added “The Ministry hereby reiterates its commitment to sufficiently resource and collaborates with all institutions under its ambit in the quest to improve and sustain quality education in Ghana.”
