Date:

Ho, Feb. 11, GNA – Mr James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, has called on chiefs and elders of Dorfor Traditional Area in the Region to maintain peace in their communities.

He noted that chiefs played crucial roles in the growth of villages, towns, and cities.

Mr Gunu speaking during a visit by a delegation from the Dorfor Traditional Council, emphasised the importance of the Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs in fostering development.

He said merging the Local Government and Religious Affairs Ministries enhanced cooperation and governance at the grassroots level.
