Gyamfi banned for one match

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has imposed a one-match on Emmanuel Gyamfi, Captain of Asante Kotoko.

The player was found guilty of stamping a player of Inter Allies FC Andy Okpe, in an off the ball incident, which in the opinion of the GFA was improper and likely to bring the game into disrepute.

In addition to the one-match ban, Gyamfi would a pay fine of GHS1,000.

A statement from the GFA said, Gyamfi has been warned that any future misconduct shall receive stiffer punishments.
