The Global Intersectoral Cooperation Forum in Istanbul featured around 1,500 businesspeople from 41 different African nations. A chance for these continental officials to interact with their Turkish colleagues.
The Global Council for Intersectoral Cooperation has set a goal of increasing commerce between Turkey and Africa to 4.5 billion dollars. The project also intends to improve Turkish Entrepreneurs’ reputation on the continent. It takes an original approach.
“This is the perfect time to comprehend Africa and work together for its future. It is time to establish powerful alliances with Africa. Stop assisting Africa now. Africa doesn’t require assistance. Africa needs financial support. Africa needs partnerships, according to Utku Bengisu, founder of the Africa Trade Centers and chairman of the World Forum for Cross-Sectoral Cooperation.
The Forum also seeks to forge export ties, guarantee that Turkey is not an outsider in the poorly understood African markets, and raise the profile of Turkish SMEs in the continent.
And Ankara does not intend to be in the lace: Turkey’s exports to Africa will exceed 100 billion dollars in the new century and I want the Republic of Turkey to talk about exports of 500 billion dollars underlined the President of the Forum.
